Mary's Holiday Cherry Almond Nut Bread |
| Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese 1 cup butter 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 1/2 tsp almond extract 4 eggs 2 1/2 cups flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 cup chopped nuts 3 cups rinsed and drained Door County cherries |
Directions Preheat oven to 350 Grease 3 small or 2 large bread pans Cream together cream cheese, butter, sugar and almond extract Beat in eggs one at a time Sift in flour and baking powder Stir in nuts and cherries Divide batter into pans. Bake 50-60 minutes |
