We are bringing in the New Year with our best wishes to all of our friends and guests. To those that we saw in 2005, thanks for visiting us and we hope to see you again in 2006. If we haven’t seen you for a while, this is not the time to be shy about coming to Door County. The parks are available for hiking or skiing; the wineries are available for taste testing and the horse-drawn carriage is ready to take you on a little tour of our town.

So far the temperature has been above normal for this time of the year and those who live here year round are not complaining about the balmy conditions. We all know it is a short-termed phenomenon and that we can expect our usual dose of frigid temperatures to appear any day now. All the more reason to call or go online and reserve your room at the White Lace Inn with a fireplace or whirlpool or both. 4th Annual Steel Bridge SongFest: June 12-14, 2008!!! more..

The first Steel Bridge Songfest in June, 2005 was a one-day affair. 2007's Steel Bridge3 added a 3-night bar crawl and brought more great performers; Jackson Browne, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go's, pat mAcdonald, Cory Chisel of The Wandering Sons, James Hall of The Pleasure Club, Jonathan Spottiswood, Emiko, Freedy Johnson, Todd Carey, members of P-Funk including Kim Manning, and Eric McFadden and many more... A mix of international and regional artists attended the songwriting intensive in The Holiday Motel and played the nine venues in historic downtown Sturgeon Bay as well as the festival mainstage on Saturday afternoon.
