White Lace Inn June 2003 Newsletter
Hello Friends!
Now that Memorial Day has signaled the official start of the summer season, Sturgeon Bay and all of Door County are crackling with activity.
Just name your pleasure and we’ll bet you can find it here. We have over 250 miles of coastline for those of you interested in sailing, kayaking or taking a cruise. For hiking or biking, we have miles and miles of trails in some of the most beautiful parks in the state. Add to that, eleven golf courses, fishing and horseback riding and you can easily fill an entire week! And we haven’t even talked about our quaint shops, quality galleries and gourmet restaurants! Come see us this month and take in one of the town festivals, sidewalk sales or a theater event. We’re ready and waiting to help you fill your days with activities or provide a place where you can just relax and enjoy a romantic getaway!
Centennial Celebration Sale
Our Main House turns 100 years old this month and we’re hoping you’ll come celebrate with us. From
June 1 through June 30, we’re taking $25 per night off our weekend and
weeknight room rates. That means you can enjoy a room with an inviting fireplace or a relaxing whirlpool starting at
$120 per night on weekends (Friday and Saturday) and $95 per night on weeknights (Sunday through Thursday). Many of you have taken advantage of our Centennial Celebration rates, but we still have some dates and rooms available.
Please call us toll free at 877-948-5223 for reservations and let the fun begin!
Speaking of Reservations………
Summer is definitely the busy season, so we encourage you to plan ahead. Call early for reservations – especially if you have a special room or particular dates in mind. Weekday availability is somewhat better during early June, but even that changes as we move into the third week of June and the summer activity picks up speed! Having said that, never be afraid to call us at the last minute. We do experience cancellations and the dates or room you want might just open up!
Apples and Cherries and Cinnamon, Oh My!
What would a visit to Door County be without apples and cherries? We’ve added a new recipe to our Inn menu just in time for summer. You can find
Apple Cherry Crisp French Toast on our
Recipes page. Better yet, come stay with us and we’ll do the baking while you relax in the parlor with your coffee and the morning paper!
