Speaking of abundance, we have had our share of rain this past month and our gardens are reaping the benefits. The tulips were here and gone, the perennials are filling in rapidly and the grounds are looking great. We have already had several weddings in the gazebo and many more planned for this summer. Our crop of rhubarb was so plentiful that our innkeeper Mary concocted up a new recipe, Strawberry Rhubarb Muffins that has been a huge hit with our guests who have been on the receiving end. It has won the recipe of the month honor so try it at home or, better yet, come visit us and let Mary make it for you! The aroma coming from her kitchen every day is enough to keep staff and guests coming back for more. Bring your appetite and a loved one and leave your diet at home. Although June officially starts our busy season, we have kept our lower room rates through June 17th. Weekday rooms start at $70 per night and that includes our wonderful full breakfast. Walk from the Inn to view the Beacons Around the Bay, a new idea this summer that replaces the fun-loving sturgeon. The artists have created some wonderful designs. As you keep walking, stop by the Miller Art Museum, the Fairfield Museum of Contemporary Art and the Historic Museum, all within a few blocks of the Inn. Adventurous walkers should cross the bridge and tour the Door County Maritime Museum. We have so much to offer and we look forward to sharing it with you.
The Dancing Bear Gift Shop has their very own beacon in front of the door. Also just in is a new product line called Naked Bee that includes lotions and soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Whimsiclay plush products by Amy Lacombe are the perfect gift that any child will love. Michele and Sheri are waiting to show you around the shop so stop by when you are in town!

month Door County is celebrating The Kingdom So Delicious. In the
late 1600’s fur trader Pierre Raddison discovered the abundance of food
and game on our peninsula and deemed it “A Kingdom So Delicious.” In 1969
National Geographic devoted 2 dozen pages to what was soon to become known
as the Midwest’s premier destination. It is now many years later and we
still offer an abundance of fabulous choices to stimulate your senses,
