The sun is warm; the breeze is fresh,
The scent of roses fills the air.
Ahh! A Vacation in July!
 What
better place to spent a vacation than relaxing at the White Lace Inn in
Door County? Get settled in one of our Victorian rooms then come to
the Main House and relax with a refreshing glass of lemonade or ice tea
and one of our White Lace Inn cookies. Visit with one of the innkeepers
who can help you plan your evening.
After you’ve had a good nights sleep in a king or queen size bed and a
relaxing time in the whirlpool in your beautifully decorated private room,
come to breakfast at the Main House and be served a delicious hearty
breakfast.
The staff can help you plan your day of interesting places to visit and
sights to see. Maybe take a drive along the lakeshore or through the
woods. We have five state parks here in Door County, each one unique in
itself. Be sure to visit the Door County Maritime Museum to learn
the history of shipbuilding in Door County. Tour one of the wineries
to learn how wine is brewed and taste some cherry wine. Of course, the
shops and galleries will keep you busy for days!
Door County cherries are
ready! Buy them picked or pick your own.
On Saturday mornings visit
the Farm and Craft Market, just across the corner from the White Lace
Inn, where Door County vendors display fresh produce and crafts.
The possibilities are
endless. In the evening enjoy a concert at the waterfront or a play at one
of the outdoor theaters: the Peninsula Players at Fish Creek, The American
Folk theater at Peninsula State Park or the Third Avenue Theater in
Sturgeon Bay.
