February 2010 - Newsletter
... from the White Lace Inn "Family"
Happy Valentine's Day to all of our friends and guests. Even though the groundhog saw its shadow today, we are expecting mild weather this month according to the forecasts. February in Door County promises a calendar full of indoor and outdoor activities for visitors, locals and families. The Crossroads at Big Creek, located two miles from White Lace Inn, will provide you with some snowshoes and send you on the 5 mile trail that runs through their 115 acre preserve. Or perhaps catch an evening program at the Maritime Museum and return to your room at the White Lace Inn for a hot chocolate, fireplace, whirlpool and a good book or a little romance. Your choice, our pleasure serving you.
The abundance of activities this month include snowshoeing, candle-light trail rides, snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, hiking, Fish Creek Winter games and more. For indoor delights, we have speakers, breakfast socials, readings, chocolate lovers weekends, Door County Idol contest, yoga, dinner parties, the list is endless and the fun is here for the taking.
Other indoor adventures include wine tastings, shopping,
museums, Third Avenue
Playhouse, fine dining, galleries, etc. And just relaxing in one of
the 18 rooms and suites at
The White Lace Inn
- the perfect place for your winter get-away. And in the morning enjoy a
cup of Hot Chocolate
with the fabulous breakfast served each day. Make some for yourself at
home and enjoy while you plan your next visit.
The White Lace Inn looks forward to your visit in
2010 - make it YOUR time to get-away!!
