the White Lace Inn "Family"
White Lace Inn -- we're always here when you need us . . . .open every night of the year
April is usually a sign of the end of winter, the beginning of warmer weather, blue skies and sunshine. Well, we have the blue skies and the sunshine, but March came in like a lion and out - yep, like a lion. Hopefully it was our last winter storm that left us with a few inches of snow over the weekend .Today is a cool sunny spring morning. Some perennials are trying to break through the ground but they just need a little help in the form of 50+ degrees. We are anxious for the weather to cooperate, as we spruce up the gardens for the Parade of Ponds event being held June 27, 2009. www.ParadeOfPondsDoorCounty.com We will be one of 19 gardens and ponds to be featured this year, and very proud to be invited! Come visit us this month and follow our progress, as we clean away the leaves and discover the returning perennials, reopen the pond, and put in new plantings. It's Spring Fling and we mean it! Check out our special reduced rates. Spend a night or 2 or more with us, enjoy the great rates and quiet days . Reserve a room or suite with fireplace, whirlpool or both. Book now and experience the warm hospitality throughout Door County. Catch the end of winter sales at our retailers or, towards the middle of the month, be the first to browse the new items being stocked for the Festival of Blossoms in May.
We invite you to spend some time with us at the
White Lace Inn and let us have fun sharing our
lives with you. Come once and you will know why we have so many repeat
guests. Why not become part of our family and start a tradition of your
own? Come up and enjoy a get-a-way in beautiful Sturgeon Bay. Have
breakfast with us in the morning and then explore the shops, galleries
and museums that are only a couple of blocks away. Come back to your
room and relax before dining in one of the many restaurants we have to
offer in the area. Let our Innkeeper recommend a place to eat and also
make your reservation for you. Call us and
reserve your room. You will be glad you did! Come and experience why

Live Music, Popcorn and Beverages, compliments of Dennis and Bonnie, every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 10:00pm! The well traveled contemporary acoustic folk music group, Random Orbit, continues hanging around our parlor picking tunes for guests and friends on Thursday evenings, year 'round. Although they have been "off the road" for some years now, their music style remains relaxed yet somehow "painfully" intricate. Guests are always welcome to join in. Just one more reason to take a Friday off, book a room and have that long relaxing weekend you deserve!
Visit the Dancing Bear Gift Shop and have Michele or Marcia show you the latest new products. Known for their unique items, this one-of-a-kind gift store has kids' toys, games and books as well as specialty soaps, lotions, Hadley Pottery, greeting cards and so much more. Pick up a sale item or a Dancing Bear t-shirt or sweatshirt for yourself and for your loved ones. The Dancing Bear Shop has become one of the places to visit on 3rd Avenue, in historic downtown Sturgeon Bay. If you need some items shipped UPS -- just call the Dancing Bear at 920-746-5223.
