May is off to a beautiful beginning! Sunny days up into the 60's, flowers sneaking a peek, buds on the shrubs, birds returning from wherever they went for the winter, and spring cleaning all around Door County. Restaurants, shops, galleries, theaters, parks, beaches, golf courses - everyone is preparing for your visit! And the "Door" is open, and the welcome mat is out. Three shipyards in Sturgeon Bay will open their doors for touring on Saturday, May 1st. Learn the history of the ship building and why even today it is such an important part of the economy of our area. This event and all of Sturgeon Bay activities are within walking distance of The White Lace Inn.
