We had fabulous fireworks displays over the 4th of July weekend all around the county. July is promising to be warm, sunny days if you can believe the weather forecast. The beaches are just the places to go during the summer days and come back to the White Lace Inn afterwards for a little R&R before heading out to dinner. Speaking of the Inn, we have summer specials going on in several of our rooms. Check our website or give us a call and we’ll put you in your favorite room for a great price. This month is always busy in Sturgeon Bay and in the entire Door Peninsula. Summer concert series, trolley rides, kayaking lessons, the list goes on. We recently saw a performance of “Golf, The Musical” at Door Off Broadway and were thoroughly entertained. In Sturgeon Bay the Farmers Market opened last month and will be available every Saturday morning through October just a block from our Inn. The nationally recognized Peninsula Players Theater opened its newly renovated theater last month to great reviews. On the 15th Sturgeon Bay will host the annual Jefferson Street Festival with food, music, kids’ entertainment and, of course, that great Jefferson Street shopping. Come stay at the Inn and we’ll help you decide where to go for a fish boil or an outdoor performance. The choices are endless. |
