Time to give thanks - to our
repeat guests and all newcomers. We are thankful that you
chose the White Lace
Inn for your visit to beautiful Door County this past year. We
enjoyed having you and look forward to your next visit. Some of you have
already rebooked your favorite dates and suite for next year. Good idea!
You won't be disappointed!
We'd also like to take time to give thanks to our loyal staff -we couldn't do it right without them. Mary continues to turn out those wonderful breakfasts each morning. (Try the recipe of the month Cherry Apple Crisp French Toast). Beth and her crew take the time to make sure your room or suite is immaculate during your stay. Jan and Bill are maintaining the grounds and houses - inside and out. We have a staff of over 20 that we would like to thank - we wouldn't be here without them. While activities in the area might slow down just bit in November, you'll see from the calendar that there are still many reasons to come visit. November 19th -Christmas By the Bay begins with the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony with entertainer Randy Peterson & Hayrides. Then on the 20th, the Santa Parade, special children's activities, hay rides, trolley rides, and brunch with Santa on Sunday. Plus the 24th annual Folk Art Fair at the Door County YMCA. Jacksonport has the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 25th. Did you ever want to take a peek inside some of the homes you pass during your visit? Well, you can - take the Holiday Home Tour November 26th and 27th and visit 5 Northern Door Homes. There will be another B & B / Historic Inns Tour in Sturgeon Bay, December 5th- all decorated for the holidays. Enjoy all of these activities and more while you stay at the White Lace Inn for a few days. Book now and experience the warm hospitality throughout Door County. Reserve a room or suite with fireplace, whirlpool or both. And after a delicious breakfast with us you can head out to explore more of Door County and see why the locals love it here - even "off season". We only slow down to appreciate why we are here. We wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!
