Romance is in the air as we prepare to
welcome December in Door County. Horse drawn carriage rides, dinner by
a fireplace at a local restaurant, holiday lights and decorations indoors
and outside and a weekend getaway to the White Lace Inn are all part of
your itinerary this month. Add a Christmas pageant and the annual bed and
breakfast walk and you may have to visit us more than once this month. We
have not seen our first snowfall as this newsletter goes to press but that
is surely in our near future. Watch it cover our gardens and cling to the
branches as you peek out the window from your cozy room at the White Lace
Inn. We look forward to your arrival!

Return from the activities to your room at
the White Lace Inn and enjoy your fireplace and whirlpool. Grab a mug
of hot chocolate and a cookie and relax before you head out to dinner at
one of our many great restaurants. Ask the innkeeper to make a

Ask us a question - We will come up with an answer. Then in
the morning enjoy one of the terrific breakfasts created in our kitchen.
Start with a fresh brewed cup of
Door County Coffee or
tea and then get ready for a Cheesy egg bake,
Stuffed French Toast or one of another of our delicious breakfast entrees.
Homemade muffins or bread and a side dish complete this perfect start to
your day. Try the recipe of the month,
Mary's Holiday Cherry Almond Nut Bread, and enjoy it at home all
winter. Live Music, Popcorn and Beverages, compliments of Dennis and Bonnie, every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:30pm! Well traveled contemporary acoustic folk music group, Random Orbit, continues hanging around our parlour picking tunes for guests and friends on Thursday evenings. Although they have been "off the road" for some years now, their music style remains relaxed yet somehow "painfully" intricate. Guests are always welcome to join in. Just one more reason to take a Friday off, book a room and have that long weekend you deserve!
